Isoko State Assembly Constituencies
Four seats on paper: North I, North II, South I and South II. Three have members. North II is restored and still vacant.
How North II was dropped — and restored
Before 1999, Isoko North and Isoko South each sent two members to the Delta State House of Assembly. In the 1998 delimitation INEC dropped Isoko North II. From the opening of the Fourth Republic, the whole of Isoko North LGA voted for one Assembly seat, while Isoko South kept South I and South II.
Courts later ordered the suppressed seat back. After years of advocacy, INEC restored Isoko North II on 15 August 2026, with Abraka and Ughelli South II in Delta. Party primaries for the restored seats were listed for 21–25 August 2026. The commission said the 2027 general-election timetable applies. The seat is named. It is not yet filled. The ward split is not yet published.

The four seats
Isoko North I
The seat that has covered the whole of Isoko North since 1999. Thirteen wards until INEC publishes the split with North II. Member: Hon. Bernard Odior, Esq. (from 2023).
Open North IIsoko North II
Dropped in the 1998 delimitation. Restored by INEC on 15 August 2026. No sworn member yet. Ward list not yet published.
Open North IIIsoko South I
Oleh, Emede and Irri — five wards, three clans — including the LGA headquarters. Member: Hon. Bino Owhede Obowomano (from 2023).
Open South IIsoko South II
Olomoro, Aviara, Igbide, Enwhe / Okpolo, Umeh–Erowha and Uzere — six wards. Member: Hon. (Dr.) Ferguson Onwo.

This hub lists only Assembly seats. The House of Representatives office is the separate Isoko North / Isoko South Federal Constituency. The Senate seat is Delta South.
How this sits beside the councils
The chairman in Oleh or Ozoro runs the Local Government Area. These four seats send lawmakers to Asaba. One Representative in Abuja covers both LGAs.
Restoring North II gives Isoko North a second voice in Asaba, matching South. It does not add a second federal seat. Both LGAs still share one Representative.
