The Most Rev. Dr. Henry C. Ndukuba, Primate of the Church of Nigeria, announced the creation of fifteen (15) new dioceses and the election of their pioneer bishops during a recent Standing Committee meeting of the Church. Among those appointed was the Venerable Dr. Benjamin Idume, who now serves as the first Bishop of the Diocese of Ozoro.
Bishop Idume’s consecration took place at the Cathedral Church of St. Peter, Asaba, Delta State, alongside other newly appointed bishops from across the country.
