Isoko South Local Government Area (LGA) is one of the two LGAs that represent the Isoko Nation in Delta State, Nigeria. This region is rich in cultural heritage and natural resources, playing a pivotal role in the socio-economic development of Delta State. With Oleh as its administrative headquarters, Isoko South is known for its vibrant cultural practices, communal spirit, and agricultural prowess, primarily in the production of cassava, palm oil, and rubber. The people of Isoko South are primarily Isoko speakers, and the LGA is home to various communities, including Aviara, Olomoro, Emede, Enhwe, Erowha, Igbide, Irri, Okpolo, Oleh, Umeh and Uzere.
